Last week, "Real Housewives of Dallas" concluded its sophomore run with the two part reunion episode. However, the big question for the series is whether or not it will be back for a third season run.

Although Bravo has not made public its plans for the Texas-based incarnation of the popular reality franchise, many are convinced that are is plenty of drama to go around in the series. This may be enough reason for the television network to renew the series for another season.

However, one of the reasons why the series may not be renewed is its performance in the ratings. The show has not been able to produce the same big audience that other "Real Housewives" shows have always done. For instance, "Real Housewives of Orange County" and "Real Housewives of New York" have become big names in reality television.

"Real Housewives of Dallas" even fared worse than Bravo's lesser-known program, "Below Deck." The reunion episodes, which aired earlier this month, will most likely contribute to the decision of whether the show will be brought back. The ratings of the two-episode finale will be reviewed by the network to help come up with the decision.

Should the show be renewed for a third season, rumors are surfacing that a popular name will be joining the cast. Morgan Bredde, the 2017 Mrs. America Texas, is said to be joining the show. The beauty queen also won Mrs. Minnesota International last year, and is now residing in Texas with her husband and two children.

This addition may add more spice into the mix of Dallas housewives, and may just help the series garner the viewership it needs to stay on air for a long time.

Bravo has not confirmed anything for now, but is expected to make a statement about the future of the series in the following weeks.
