In less than five months, Teresa Giudice will finish her prison sentence, and she is set to be released for home confinement in December. And while her family will surely be glad to have her back home, her fans are also in for a treat as a source told Us Weekly that the 43-year-old reality TV star will be returning to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" next season.

The insider told the magazine that Teresa "will definitely be back" and that her return to the reality show will benefit both her and Bravo, as the source pointed out that "there is no 'Jersey' without Teresa."

The mother of four became a fan favorite due to her outspoken manner and personality. She made her debut in season 1 of the Bravo show where fans got to know her as the happy-go-lucky Housewife who ultimately made her mark during the season finale party where she flipped a table while confronting Danielle Staub.

While season 5 of the show was airing on the network last year, off camera, Teresa and husband Joe were indicted for 41 counts of financial fraud. The couple pleaded guilty to bank and mortgage fraud and was sentenced to prison. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison, while Joe was sentenced to 41 months. Teresa reported to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut on Jan. 5 and is scheduled to be released from jail on Dec. 23. After she completes her prison sentence, Joe will begin serving his time in jail.

Meanwhile, the reality star is reportedly planning a huge comeback as she is set to release a memoir about her life in prison. Last month, Us Weekly published a few excerpts from her prison diary, wherein Teresa revealed that they were eating "orange soy burgers" in jail and that she witnessed a prison fight.

While the network has yet to confirm Teresa's return on season 6 of "RHONJ," Bravo's Andy Cohen told Entertainment Weekly that he remains in touch with the star through a special prison email system.

"She seems to be okay," Cohen told EW. "She definitely has not lost her sense of humor which I really admire. She's really funny in her emails."
