This week on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," the ladies of OC got to experience both joy and pain as Tamra Judge welcomed her first grandchild, while Vicki Gunvalson continued to mourn her mother. 

Vicki was still crying over the death of her mother as her boyfriend Brooks helped her pack for the funeral. She felt even worse that Brooks could not go with her to Chicago because her whole family disapproves of him. Tamra and Eddie dropped by and they consoled Vicki, and before she left, Brooks prayed over the whole group. 

Meanwhile, Meghan Edmonds boasted that she's a cool stepmom, and the fact that she's close in age to her stepchildren makes her able to relate to them better. 

"I can talk about Twitter! And Instagram! And Snapchat!" she exclaimed. "I'm cool! I get it." 

Meghan bonded with her teenage stepdaughter Hayley by doing paddle board yoga. They had a heart-to-heart talk about Hayley's mother, LeAnn, and her battle with colon cancer. Meghan told Hayley about Vicki losing her mother and said that while Vicki got a lot of time with her mom, Hayley could lose her mom while she's still a teenager. Later, LeAnn and Meghan teamed up to help Hayley prepare for her winter formal, and there was a bit of drama when Hayley found out that she left her dress. After the dress arrived and Hayley continued to be surly during a surprise photo session on the beach, Meghan declared that she was over bratty teenagers. 

Shannon Beador continued to work on her marriage with husband David, and their latest counseling session was about how to parent their kids better. However, when they got home from the session, David told their children that he's had a bad day because Shannon had been mad at him the whole day. Shannon was still upset about his affair, and she asked David for a list of all the places and restaurants that he went to with the other woman. 

"I don't want to be surprised by any locations," she told him.

They continued to argue as they talked about this, and later they shut the door on both the cameras and their daughter, who made a face and said, "That was awkward," before walking away.

After buying lots of baby clothes for her first grandchild, Tamra made the trip to Roseville, California to meet up with her son Ryan and his fiancée, Sarah, before the baby's birth. Later, Sarah gave birth to a baby girl, and a tearful Tamra introduced herself to baby Ava. She said that her life is forever changed now that she's a grandma.
