With the recent PlayStation 4 release of the original 'Red Dead Revolver' video game, rumors are now once again speculating that 'Red Dead Redemption 2' may be coming out very soon. The game's developer and publisher — Rockstar Games — has, of course, not yet announced anything official, but that hasn't stopped reports from trying to guess the sequel's possible release date.

Before the re-release of the original game, majority of the alleged reports have predicted that the game was likely to be coming out in 2018.

Now, after the release of the first game in the franchise for the latest generation console, the predictions have changed as it seems like fans are interpreting the release of the original game as a precursor to a possible release of "Red Dead Redemption 2" very soon.

Some reports have claimed that the re-release might be a way of attracting gamers back to the franchise before the company releases the latest installment in the series. As of the moment, players can now download and play the original game on their PlayStation 4 consoles by going to the PlayStation Store and purchasing it for $14.99.

For now, Rockstar Games still has a bunch of games to release in the coming years. Aside from "Red Dead Redemption 2," the sixth installment in their "Grand Theft Auto" franchise — called "Grand Theft Auto 6" — is also highly expected to be coming out very soon.

However, reports have claimed that Rockstar may still have at least two more games in its production timeline before releasing any of the two aforementioned sequels. Game & Guide claims that Rockstar would likely still be releasing both "Bully 2" and "Agent" before releasing either "Red Dead Redemption 2" or "Grand Theft Auto 6."
