Rockstar Games has recently revealed new screenshots of the much-awaited video game sequel "Red Dead Redemption 2" ("RDR2") making the fans more excited about the upcoming title. Aside from the fresh gameplay screenshots, a different source has provided more specific details regarding the game, including a new set of game modes and activities. Interestingly, players are likely to enjoy a Battle Royale mode once "RDR2" is launched later this year.

The latest info regarding "Red Dead Redemption 2" came from Trusted Reviews, which is listed in the alleged leaked document from the Rockstar studio. The document claims that there will be several new activities and game features to be introduced by the sequel, as well as new potential game modes to keep the players interested. Perhaps the highlight of the said document leak is the Battle Royale game mode, which will be a first time for a Rockstar Games title. It appears that the Battle Royale-style gaming in "Red Dead Redemption 2" is patterned after some of PlayerUnknown studio's video games such as "Battlegrounds" and "Fortnite."

The "Red Dead Redemption 2" leaks show other new game modes like Revive and Survive. This particular mode will have two teams competing against each other as the players revive their fallen teammates. Another game mode called Money Grab will see the players collecting as many gold bags as they can within a limited time. The leaks also suggest that the upcoming "RDR" sequel will have a more interactive environment, similar to "Grand Theft Auto" titles.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the recent delay in "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date will be the last for this year. Rockstar announced that the game is now expected to be available starting on Oct. 26. "RDR2" was initially slated for a 2017 launch before it was moved to spring 2018.

"While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish. We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it," Rockstar said in its latest statement.
