Majority of the rumors that surfaced before were all about the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" ("RDR2"). Now that it has been clarified, with the sequel's official release announced just recently, players want to know next about the gameplay details. Fortunately, rumors and apparent leaks on the gameplay have, unsurprisingly, been spreading much to the delight of "RDR2" fans.

According to the folks over at Trusted Reviews, they had apparently received development notes about the game in August 2017. However, they only decided to share them just recently. First things first, there are two main characters that are also featured in screenshots that were released by Rockstar: Arthur Morgan and Dutch Van Der Linde.

With the rise of the battle royale genre in the gaming industry, the online feature of "RDR2" will have its own battle royale. With it, they will also have Revive and Survive and Money Grab modes although not much has been detailed about these modes. Rockstar has yet to also reveal whether the battle royale mode is similar to "PUBG."

As a general description, Revive and Survive is simply a team-versus-team mode. The catch is that players will be able to revive their teammates although only for a limited number of times. On the other hand, the Money Grab mode is also a team-versus-team mode but this time there are bags of money that players need to gain from enemy players.

Lastly, there is also a sort of free-roam mode in which players can do just that. It is pretty much like "GTA Online." Where "RDR2" does better is in the more interactive environment and active NPCs who decorate their houses during the seasons. It will also include separate missions and events.

All of these are just alleged leaks and rumors so better to take these with a grain of salt. Players will just have to wait for official announcement.
