Fans are hyped because of an image teased by Rockstar Games through its social media channels. The reason behind it is due to the fact that it could be the first ever teaser for the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" game, and if not, the new title could be something surely related to the series.

According to  Game Spot, the image — while devoid of any caption or text — definitely has a "Read Dead" feel to it. Also, the presence of the seven characters on the foreground might be a teaser for a multiplayer mode for the game, but it is yet to be confirmed at this point.

However, it seems that it was not the first hint Rockstar gave as it first started teasing "Red Dead"-related teasers in the past few weeks, the first of which is updating their profile pictures for its various social media channels with the red Rockstar logo. It is still too early to assume, though, but it is possible that the company will give more hints about the mysterious picture in the coming weeks.

After all, it is no surprise for most people that Rockstar will release a new "Red Dead Redemption" game since most fans remember the game as something even critics had adored. The title also reached more 14 million purchases in terms of global copies of the game.

Even Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive — Rockstar's parent company — said that the "Red Dead" franchise is permanent in the same manner as "Grand Theft Auto."

The Metro UK, however, is quite skeptical about the correlation between the teaser and "Red Dead Redemption 2," as it could be possible that it is unconnected. Furthermore, it can also just signify the release of the game's remaster for the current console generations. Fans are still keeping their hopes up, as announcements will inevitably start appearing soon.
