A second part to the Rockstar game "Red Dead Redemption" is well underway, and rumors are that the game will have three main characters to choose from.

A tipster on Reddit who claims to be an ex-developer of Rockstar reveals that the game will have three main characters to play with: one that is customizable, and two with a backstory. The two preset characters will be named Irish and Seth.

Irish is a man from Ireland who came to the Americas when he was a teenager and would then move into a western town as he turned 21. Seth is a bank-teller who leaves his comfortable life when stories of hidden treasure arise in a small town called Tumbleweed.

The first instalment of the western action-adventure "Red Dead Redemption" was set in three fictitious towns: New Austin, West Elizabeth, and Nuevo Paraiso. The game happens in the early 19th century, at the peak of the American Frontier when cowboys were the heroes. The gameplay allows players to carry and fire various weapons, tame and use horses as transportation and roam open prairie and desert terrain.

The game is developed by Rockstar, the brains behind games like "GTA," "Midnight Club," and "Max Payne." Rockstar Studios intends to make "Red Dead Redemption" another big series to add in their arsenal of gamer franchises.

According to Master Herald, "Red Dead Redemption 2" will most likely be coming out in the latter part of 2016 to give Rockstar Studios the edge in maximising the holiday sales and shopping season.

According to other reports, a PC version of "Red Dead Redemption 2" will also be released, but fans will have to wait at least a month after the release for gamer consoles. This speculation is based on patterns Rockstar follows, as the game developer did the same with the gaming console release of "Grand Theft Auto 5," which was followed by a release of the PC version a month after.
