Another rumor concerning the game's setting suggests something closer to home, and predicts that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be taking place across a variety of western states. This setting would be more similar to the one found in the original "Red Dead Redemption" game, although the entirety of the map might end up being bigger in the sequel.
