Better days for Mary seem to be far off and in the new episode of "Reign" season 2 titled "Abandoned," the Queen has incredibly difficult decisions to make. One thing is for sure though, she chooses Francis.

In the previous episode, Mary could not just leave her ill man alone. Catherine's words pierced her right through the heart and led her to believe that Francis was out cold and weak because of her actions. She did not think twice and as she set out to return to her beloved, amazingly, Francis gained consciousness right before she arrived.

Mary left Condé as they were about to run off, and the next episode will show the aftermath of her decision. With England's greater threat upon her and the country, Mary's time is running out. The next installment will see her charging into a choice that could drastically change everything.

Condé does not take abandonment lightly and him thrusting his fist through the window clearly suggests that. More to the point, the synopsis for episode 19 reveals that he makes a "bold move" that will bind him to England.

It looks like Condé's rage and Mary's decision to abandon him after making it seem like he is her choice sends him straight to Queen Elizabeth and into the burrow of those who are against the woman he had hoped to elope with to England.

With turmoil all around, Catherine, together with Narcisse (who did not carry out Mary's plans of sending French troops to Scotland), will work on getting the court's side to them in the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, fans will also see Bash become more and more secluded just as Kenna grows closer to General Renaude.

"Reign" season 2 episode 19 "Abandoned" will air on April 23.
