Renew your vows at Worcester Cathedral
The Christian faith is all about love and Worcester Cathedral wants couples to know that this Valentine's Day.
It is giving couples the opportunity to renew their wedding vows at the cathedral during a special service at 7pm on 14 February.
The service is being kept deliberately short - a snappy 30 minutes - so that couples can recommit to their relationship to God before going out and enjoying the rest of their evening together.
Leading the service will be the Archdeacon of Worcester, Roger Morris, and his wife, Sally, an ordained minister herself and Deputy Head at a Secondary School in Gloucestershire.
The couple will share their thoughts on the importance of marriage and the impact it has had on their lives.
Mr Morris says: "Sally and I have been married for over 22 years. When we were married, someone wished us the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job and the tribes of Israel. Sally is very wise, when it comes to patience I try hard and we are delighted with having just the two children. Marriage has been a real life-enhancing gift - and fun."
Mrs Morris added: "Roger and I have learnt not to take ourselves too seriously - and that sense of humour has kept everything in perspective."
