"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is an upcoming survival-horror game from developer Capcom. Recently, the company released two more trailers to tickle its fans.

Additional two short trailers titled, "A Closer Look" and "Imagination," were made available recently. The trailers showcase gameplay mechanics that fans are quite familiar with. It shows that players will be able to inspect objects closely, as well as to solve a puzzle.

"A Closer Look" highlights how players can interact with objects in the games. The one on the video shows the player picking up a small metal box from a shelf and closely examining the item's exterior, rotating it as if holding the actual object. The box was also opened, but before anybody could take a look on the inside, the clip ended.

The second "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" trailer, "Imagination," shows a similar way of interacting with objects. The clip features a knife, a weird-looking doll, a balloon, and something that looks like an electronic component. The objects mentioned also cast a shadow onto the immediate wall with a painting of a spider and are believed to be a puzzle that players need to solve to unravel a secret.

Puzzle solving is not something new to the game series. Previous releases have also incorporated them before. However, there are speculations that the upcoming game will contain more cryptic puzzles compared to its predecessors.

The gaming community also lauded Capcom for a job well done in keeping the fans' interest in their game. The studio gives out enough information, but not enough for the fans to make a solid conclusion of what the game can fully offer, aside from being scary. The upcoming game has not even revealed much of its plot even if there were several clips released.

Masachika Kawata, the game producer, previously mentioned that the game is 90 percent done and that the development team is satisfied with the game's current state. This happened during the unveiling of the PlayStation 4 Pro, which the game will support, a couple of weeks ago.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is set to roll out on Jan. 24, 2017 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
