Capcom has just released "Resident Evil 7" Gold Edition together with the final two expansions of the game. The definitive Gold Edition contains the base game, all the previously-released downloadable content (DLC), plus the new expansions "End of Zoe" and "Not A Hero."

"End of Zoe" is a continuation of the "Resident Evil 7" narrative seen through an outsider's eyes. It will follow the fate of Zoe after protagonist Ethan Winters abandon her. Players of the main game may remember that if Mia gets the cure, Zoe will be left to die.

The new point-of-view is given to players courtesy of Joe, a mysterious "swamp survivalist." Players will take control of Joe and will put the woodsman's skills to the test.

Besides being hardened in body and mind, thanks to years of enduring the horrors of the swamp, Joe's fists are tough as oak wood. He can smash Molded heads with his bare hands.

Yes— "End of Zoe" finally gives players the ability to punch Molded to obliterate them. Players have to be careful when they encounter tougher versions of Molded, though. Some strains developed lethal spikes on their arms and head, and punching these monsters will not be enough.

The core of the experience is about how Joe will affect Zoe's story. Whether the woodsman saves Zoe or fails is up to the player.

Meanwhile, "Not A Hero" is set in an entirely different story thread. It will feature Umbrella member Chris Redfield as he hunts for Lucas Baker, aiming to stop the Baker tragedy once and for all.

"Not A Hero" is a free DLC and takes place after the events that happened to Winters in "Resident Evil 7."

"End of Zoe" is included in the Gold Edition which costs $60. It is also included in the Season Pass which costs $40. Players can also spend $14.99 to purchase the expansion individually.
