According to reports, it seems that "Resident Evil 7's" pre-order bonus has been revealed to be an item pack that would help players tackle the hardest difficulty of the game.

The item pack has been leaked, and images of this bonus content were posted accidentally through the Swedish retailer Discshop's website.

According to Game Spot, as seen on the "Resident Evil 7" page of Discshop, there are four different item packs available for the game: the Burner Set, Chem Fluid Set, Handgun Set, and Recovery Set. While nothing is yet confirmed about the contents of these sets, some of them actually contain some of the classic items from every "Resident Evil" game such as the herbs from the Recover Set as well as the Handgun Set's ammo.

Other sets — such as the Chem Fluid set — seems to have some sort of a healing item in addition to other unknown items. The Burner set; however, can be used with the rumored flamethrower weapon. But since the weapon is still unconfirmed, it is possible that the set may contain something else entirely.

Along with these preorder bonus items, each set also features a coin of some sort. It is yet to be confirmed whether these coins will be used as the currency for the game, or if they will have another purpose, like the dummy finger in the "Resident Evil 7" demo for the PS4. As fans can remember, the Recovery Set was the image sent by Capcom to "Resident Evil" newsletter subscribers, which also included the gold coin.

Meanwhile, Game Rant, says that with the release of these sets, as well as the previously leaked zombies sporting similarities with the previous games', fans are hoping that this title can return to its survival-horror roots when it gets released on January 24, 2017, for the PS4, PS-VR, Xbox One, and the PC.
