The much-awaited horror game "Resident Evil 7" is still a few months away from being released, and Capcom is now taking the time to hype up "Resident Evil" fans with a bunch of demos and game feature reveals.

A couple of features that are getting "Resident Evil" fans hyped about the upcoming horror game's released is the title's VR ready feature and the new saving feature announced by "Resident Evil 7" Producer Masachika Kawata.

As of now, demos for the "Resident Evil 7" VR mode is gaining the spotlight from "Resident Evil" fans. The VR version of the game has greatly affected the first-person shooter game's feel by completely immersing its players in its thrilling zombie filled world.

Furthermore, as announced by "Resident Evil 7" Producer Kawata, the game will be receiving a new saving system update. The update will now have players go through the game with more automatic saving intervals. This means that a player's character can die at some point of the game, only to return from a shorter checkpoint gap.

However, if the player chooses to go on a higher difficulty, the checkpoint gap will become longer and longer, therefore being more unkind to players.

Furthermore, Kawata also announced that "Resident Evil 7" will not be supporting any online gaming mode. "So for example, with Resident Evil 5, we focused on cooperative online play, which was well-received. But the key concept of Resident Evil 7 is horror, so from the very beginning, we thought that playing alone will give the best horror experience," Kawata said.

"Resident Evil 7's" plot will pick up where it left off in "Resident Evil 6." Gamers will take on the role of Ethan, an individual who is on the mission to look for his lost wife. Gamers will be helping Ethan go against zombie-like creatures by using several weapons such as pistols, shotguns, and axes.

Players will also be introduced to a new set of characters as well as new opponents.

"Resident Evil 7" is coming out on January 24, 2017.
