'Revenge' season 4 spoilers: Emily gets help from Jack and Nolan to prove her innocence in episode 22 'Plea'

Victoria's ultimate plot of revenge against Emily involves her own death. In the previous episode of "Revenge," the vendetta-inebriated Grayson matriarch unfurled her grandest scheme yet, which was to burn her manor to the ground with herself inside it and make it look like Emily did it.

Next week's episode will see Emily trying to break away from the heavy accusations. She has gotten away from so much in her life but fans can't help but doubt and worry if she will ever get out of this in one piece, especially because Victoria made sure her plan falls into place.

In her battle to prove her innocence in the upcoming episode titled "Plea," Emily, who was revealed to be Amanda Clarke, will get help from two people who will probably go to the ends of the Earth just to keep her safe. These men are none other than Nolan and Jack.

Needless to say, Emily's constant recitation of "I'm innocent" to the police would not convince them to get her out of prison. It seems that Victoria has won and her setup has gone the way she arranged it. She even left a farewell video to annoy her enemy for the last time.

"By the time you received [this] I'll no longer be among the living," Victoria said in the video message. "I'm going to make it appear as though you murdered me in your own home. You never had the guts to kill yourself but I do. May you suffer greatly."

Although Emily is aided by Nolan and Jack, Ben's inability to understand unreciprocated love will drive him to foil every single attempt of the trio to prove Emily's innocence. There's nothing worse than his team-up with two people pursuing the same vendetta.

It remains to be seen if Emily will get out of this mess but her belief that Victoria is still alive and well (probably laughing maniacally with the idea of her nemesis rotting in prison) will help her get through one of her biggest ordeals yet.

"Revenge" season 4 episode 21 "Plea" will air on May 3.
