'Revenge' season 4 episode 11: What's next after Daniel's death?

RIP DanielWikipedia

Sunday night's mid season finale left fans grasping for air. After all, who would have thought that Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) would actually sacrifice his own life to save his ex-wife Emily Thorne (Emily Vancamp), even though they were not exactly in good terms?

Now fans are eager for the mid-season premiere to start, which is said to be on Sunday, Jan. 4. Everyone wants to know how Emily will cope with Daniel's death, and how it will affect his baby-mama Margaux (Karine Vanasse) now that she is ready to take him back again after cheating on her. More importantly, viewers would want to know how his mother Victoria will react after she finds out that her son died because of her mortal enemy.

Daniel's killer is actually Agent Kate Taylor (Courtney Ford), the daughter of "Revenge's" new antagonist Malcolm Black (Tommy Flanagan).

A video teaser of the upcoming episode titled "Epitaph" shows the funeral services for Daniel. The soon-to-be released episode will also show Margaux and Victoria holding on to each other after their beloved's death, which could mean that Emily will be in danger in the upcoming episodes.

Aside from Daniel's death, Victoria's life may also be in danger. The mid-season premiere shows David (James Tupper) planning to get back at her for framing him up in the past. But Emily's reaction may not be what fans are expecting, since she seems to be concerned about Victoria now. Will David actually execute his ruthless plans?

Meanwhile, Daniel will still be around in "Revenge" season 4 episode 11. He will be present in several flashback scenes that will leave a big impact in the series.

"I'm actually in a couple of flashbacks in Episode 11," actor Josh Bowman informed TVLine. "One of those [flashback] scenes was the last thing I shot, and that was very strange to do. I've been on this show for four years now, so it was a sad day, but one that I'm going to take with me always."

"Revenge" season 4 episode 11 airs on Sunday, Jan. 4, on ABC.
