For those who are wondering why "Revenge" skipped a week without an episode, that's because ABC had to give way for the American Music Awards 2014. But fans don't need to fret, "Revenge" season 4 episode 9 will air this Sunday, and the drama will continue between Emily and her father.

Episode 9 is titled "Intel" and this could be referring to the information that Emily is digging up on David's post-jail past. There is still a mystery enveloping the events after David Clarke escaped from prison. Who helped him escape? Who took care of him? What was the agenda of helping him?

Fans would like to think that this "savior" is a good guy, but David told Emily that this guy is more evil than Conrad Grayson. Hence, Emily is committed to finding out more by willingly torturing the guy who tried to kidnap David from Victoria's hospital room, reports IBT.

Meanwhile, Emily and Daniel Grayson seem to be reconnecting in an odd way lately. Charlotte Grayson, before going away to rehab, confessed to her brother that Emily is actually Amanda Clarke. After which, Daniel finally understood why Emily did what she did. He also realized that his tormented life is due to the doings of this own parents.

Back in episode 8, Daniel visited Emily at the mansion and saw her crying. Daniel encouraged her to not give up on her father. The two are connecting on an emotional level, and Daniel's desire to know if anything was real between them before surely shows that he isn't so angry toward Emily anymore.

At any rate, Emily is determined on unraveling the mystery surrounding her father. There may not be any romantic connections in the near future with Daniel, Ben or Jack.
