To celebrate Thanksgiving, the guys behind the popular science fiction comedy animated series "Rick and Morty" released a very heartwarming video showing the emotional backstory of the crassly named character Mr. Poopybutthole.

The video, titled "The Poop in My Pants," is two-minute montage that showed the backstory of Mr. Poopybutthole, his love and family life, as well as some tragedies that his family had to face.

The video begins with the closing seconds of season 3, where the Smith family are seen laughing at their table as Rick watches on. Zooming out, Mr. Poopybutthole is seen watching the show while sitting on his couch.

He then turns the television off and grabs a scrapbook titled "The Poop in My Pants." As Mr. Poopybutthole flicks through the pages of the scrapbook, fans are treated to a history of the character, from his days as a student to the present.

The pictures show how Mr. Poopybutthole met the love of his life, how he proposed to her, and how they got married. They also document the time when the couple found out that they were pregnant and when their baby was born. The scrapbook also has a number of photos showing their pets, a dog and a cat. It also showed the heartbreak that they went through after their cat tragically died.

Set to dramatic music, the montage of photos showed what Mr. Poopybutthole is thankful for on the holiday season, and it should be enough to make any "Rick and Morty" fan tear up.

The last time that Mr. Poopybutthole appeared on the series was during the final episode of season 3, where he declared that the next season will not be coming back for a really long time. He said that he may already have a beard and grandkids by the time season 4 would be finished.

Despite this warning, fans of the show are still eagerly waiting for the announcement of when the series will return. If the history of the show is any indication, then there is really no way of telling when it will come back.
