"Rick and Morty" season 3 will be premiering later this year and the creators have given short previews of what fans can expect. Unlike previous teasers, the latest short story that might be adapted into season 3 is a live performance of the cast and creators of the show as they improvise a story and dialogue on the spot.

During a special video interview with the New York Magazine, creator Dan Harmon, co-creator Justin Roiland who also voices both Rick and Morty, writer Ryan Ridley and voice actress Spencer Grammer who voices Morty's sister Summer all collaborate on a four-minute short story involving a new experiment and Summer getting into college.

In the short segment, Rick has been experimenting on Morty's legs by injecting 120cc of feces and plans on amputating Morty's legs. As they work, Summer enters the garage and asks for Rick for advice in getting in college to which he prompts her to enter Harvard.

Summer speaks with the dean of Harvard and the latter is impressed when Rick arrives carrying Morty in a backpack. Morty's legs have been amputated and given jetpacks. Because of this Summer is given a full scholarship and returns home several years, at the age of 22.

However, upon returning she discovers Morty is nothing more than an eyelash after an infection in his knee destroyed his body. As they try to figure out what to do next a portal opens and the demon Nebutron arrives and attempts to subdue Rick and Morty. Morty fights Nebutron but the demon wishes the group out into space and the house explodes.

At the very end of the segment the cast then teases that this may be the beginning of a "Rick and Morty" movie.

As stated by iTech Post, there is no guarantee that the short will be included in "Rick and Morty" season 3 but the chances of it are very high given how they had released the clip to the public. If it does get integrated into the show it is likely going to be further edited by the staff of writers.

"Rick and Morty" season 3 premieres by the end of the year, although a specific date has yet to be announced.
