It is still at least a year before a new season comes out, but fans are already speculating on how season 3 of "Rick and Morty" will turn out. According to the latest rumors, a number of episodes for the upcoming season might see the return of Evil Morty.

According to Master Herald, in a recent interview, series co-creator Dan Harmon said that they might revisit past episodes and even take some things from previous seasons. While the co-creator did not specifically mention if this means that past characters will be appearing again, the industry follower mentioned speculations predicting the return of Evil Morty.

The report also mentioned that another character's return to the show has already been confirmed by co-creator Justin Roiland himself. Roiland let it slip in a recent interview that he wants Mr. Meeseeks, another fan-favorite character, to make a return for season 3.

Meanwhile, since season 3 of "Rick and Morty" won't premiere soon, fans can get their hands on a newly released game inspired by the show. "Pocket Mortys" has just been released for mobile devices and currently available for Android and iOS users.

According to its IGN game description, "Pocket Mortys" combines characters from the show with "Pokémon"-style gameplay. Players must train and level up up to 70 different Mortys, ranging from "Mustache Morty, Wizard Morty, Cronenberg Morty and more."

Players can organize their own team and battle other Ricks for the title of "the greatest Morty trainer of all space and time."

Although just released last week, the popularity of "Pocket Mortys" among the show's fans continues to rise and iDigitalTimes even predicted that the game could influence new episodes for the upcoming season.
