Aside from the American sitcom "Rick and Morty," fans are also happy with and totally entertained by its virtual reality (VR) game, "Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality." Recent news reveal that the game will soon be released for PlayStation 4 VR.

Gamers can currently experience "Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality" on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. But many PS4 owners are still waiting for the game to be available on the console. Reports reveal that PS4 users can now rejoice since the game will soon support PS4.

It is said that developer Owlchemy Labs is aiming for a 2018 release. The good news was announced during the PlayStation Experience event, which has excited fans of the Adult Swim television series.

The storyline of the game involves Rick and Morty who are teleported into the gamer's living room. One can play as a Morty Smith clone while exploring the garage of Rick, alien worlds, and even the Smith household.

Players will get the chance to experience Morty's life as he goes through portals to strange worlds. As Morty, the player can also help Rick with his experiments. One needs to follow the directions and instructions of Rick to solve puzzles and complete missions. The gamer can also use his or her hands in VR to pick up and play in a 3D world of "Rick and Morty."

The game, which is fully voiced by the show's voice actor and co-creator Justin Roiland, draws heavily from the series' characters and gags. Its features include 3D characters in VR, the ability to probe, prod, throw, and smash items like the Plumbus, teleport around rooms, and walk through portals.

The single-player simulation game was released on April 20, 2017. It was published by Adult Swim Games and developed by Owlchemy Labs, which is also behind the famous "Job Simulator" game of 2016.
