In the wake of the Ricky Martin death hoax that spread like wildfire on the Internet, the subject of the hoax himself has responded in an unbelievable way. First of all, it is good to know that the "Shake Your Bon Bon" singer is very much alive. But the clincher is that Martin responded to the death hoax as if he was sending a postcard from heaven. 

Martin dealt with the hoax with a sense of humor. Through his Instagram account, he posted photos of himself in a location that is almost close to eternal paradise. "#Sunset in #Heaven" was the caption for one of the breathtaking photos, while "Hello from #heaven" was for the other. 

Many rejoiced and were very happy to know that their idol is fine. However, this level of Internet trolling causes a huge concern. The people who were responsible for the death hoax did put a lot of work into it. 

The Mirror reported that the Internet trolls actually used the footage from the cop who handled Robin Williams' case and used that to announce the fake death of Martin. The video was uploaded on YouTube and it lasted for 40 seconds. The video said that Martin, 43, has died from a car crash on New Year's Day. In the video, assistant chief deputy coroner Keith Boyd was making a statement regarding the death of Robin Williams. But in this case, the footage was edited and dubbed. 

"Multi-platinum artist Enrique Martin Morales, known by the stage name 'Ricky Martin', died at 4.30 p.m. eastern time while driving his BMW convertible car on a freeway in Los Angeles, CA.," the video said. 

Apart from the announcement, the video also showed some scenes from a car accident, making it appear real. There was even footage of a car swerving and later, smashing another car. The viral video already garnered 360,000 views on YouTube.
