Evidence in a brutal crime will lead to Jane's (Angie Harmon) doorstep in the upcoming episode of "Rizzoli & Isles."

In "5:26," Cartermatt reports that the female detective will once again find a strange connection between her and the crime she and Dr. Maura (Sasha Alexander) are investigating. Upon autopsy, a balloon of cocaine will be found inside a dead woman's stomach. What will cause confusion is that inside the container is an old watch.

Jane and Maura will immediately look into the significance of the watch to the murder, but they, too, will be baffled to find out that the clues lead to Jane. It appears that the watch is the key to protecting herself and the people that she loves from people who wish them harm.

Fashion & Style posits that the dead woman is somehow related to the Rizzoli clan. Another theory is that someone is using her to get to Jane, which is entirely plausible, considering that it has happened before. But who can it be this time? An old friend with a grudge or someone she helped put into jail?

And what about the drug angle? Cocaine is found inside the victim's tummy, giving the idea that an individual or a group may be using her as a drug mule. Is a drug cartel somehow involved in this case? If this is true, Jane and Maura are pitting themselves against one scary foe.

Last episode, the dynamic duo went to Los Angeles for two cases that were seemingly connected. It involved a con artist who made a living stealing security checks from people he hoodwinked. Jane also had a run-in with a hacker, who tried to steal her own identity. The person admitted to being the one responsible for burning her apartment previously, so now she knows she has an enemy somewhere.

"Rizzoli & Isles" airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
