Fans of Halloween and of "Rocket League" are about to get some seasonal treats in the form of new items coming to the game.

Starting Oct. 18, players can expect to see some new items inside "Rocket League," and these will make it easier for them to truly get into the spirit of the spooky holiday.

In a post from Psyonix on the official PlayStation Blog, all of the new Halloween-themed items that will be released for the game will be available as post-match drops. Arguably the best part of that is that players can get their hands on these new items regardless of whether they win or lose the match they have just taken part in.

There will be six different items in total that players can acquire. The list of items includes the Pumpkin Topper, the Fuzzy Vampire Antenna, the Fuzzy Brute Antenna, the Carriage Wheels, the Candy Corn Rocket Trail, and also the Calavera Antenna.

Players who get some or all of these items can keep them for good. Unfortunately, if a player does not secure a specific item by Nov. 2, then they will have to wait until the ocassion's return next year to get a shot once again at completing the Halloween set for "Rocket League."

Since the items will be random drops, players will need a lot of luck to get all the loot they want before the deadline or they can just play more hours of the game to improve their odds even more.

The Halloween set will be available free of charge, but there will be something for players to pay up for in the near future.

"Rocket League's" next DLC pack, known as "Revenge of the Battle-Cars," will be coming out on Oct. 4, Gamespot reported.

Players interested in getting the DLC pack can purchase it for $4.
