With just a week left before the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One re-release of "Grand Theft Auto V," Rockstar Games rolled out the official launch trailer for the game.

The new trailer for the next-generation consoles shows a cinematic video that highlights the plot and setting of "GTA V."  However, the trailer fails to show the improvements and additions in the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One versions.

The re-launched version of the popular action-packed, open-world video game will feature a lot of major improvements in its graphics to make the gaming experience more enjoyable. It will have clearer, finer resolution details compared to the earlier versions, with its 1080 pixel resolution at 30 frames per second. The players will find a lot of improvements in the quality of water and lighting effects as well.

There will also be a wide range of new and improved contents in the game, including more vehicles such as a Dodo and a classic seaplane, new activities, new weapons like the experimental rail-gun, a much denser traffic, additional wildlife and new vegetation system for a more realistic feel, as well as all-new weather effects.

In addition, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "GTA V" will have new first person controls that are not available in the last-generation consoles. This allows players to change into the first person mode while on foot or while driving, which could make a huge impact on how the game is played.

Rockstar Games spent a lot of time just to make sure that the long wait for the game will all be worth it. In a recent interview, art director Aaron Garbut mentioned that creating the re-launched game took them more time compared to doing a brand new game altogether.

"On the art side we've taken another look at every asset in the game. From additional dressing and detailing of the world, to looking at every prop and increasing their resolution, or even starting from scratch where appropriate," the art director said.

The Xbox and PlayStation 4 versions of "Grand Theft Auto V" will be launched on Nov. 18.  The PC version, on the other hand, will not be released until Jan. 27, 2015.
