Ronda Rousey next fight news: Cyborg ready to fight Rowdy in her UFC return
Cris "Cyborg" Justino is out for blood, specifically that of Ronda Rousey. When asked by TMZ on whom she wants to fight next between Rousey and Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate, she was so sure of her answer.
"Me and Ronda have a novella together. You have to finish a novella. Everybody wants to watch this fight," Cyborg said.
"If you ask all the fans who they want to see, I think they want to see Ronda Rousey and Cyborg," she went on to say.
Of course, Justino, who won in her UFC debut against Leslie Smith via knockout, is confident she will be Rousey's second blemish in her record.
"I kill her, for sure. I would put everything she has said about me in my hands," Cyborg declared, accusing Rowdy of "hiding."
Justino has been making attempts to taunt and score a fight against Rousey. However, Rowdy hasn't been responding to any callout, even that of Tate, who said that Rousey isn't in the right condition to fight.
As fighters line up for a match with Rousey, the former bantamweight champion's return is still up in the air. It was initially expected she'll return later this year.
Not long after, reports emerged she'll be back in the Octagon early next year instead. There were even rumors she is being invited for a WWE appearance.
UFC president Dana White recently gave an update on Rousey's return, revealing that she is back in training and will be back in time.
"This isn't the first time Ronda's ever lost. She's been an athlete her whole life, you know... Obviously Ronda is a very unique individual and has her own way of dealing with things," White said during an "Unfiltered" podcast.
"Apparently, this is the way she wants to deal with it. She'll be back, though. She'll be back," White promised.
