Ronda Rousey next fight rumors: Rowdy finally takes a break from it all
No one knows what is going on inside the head of Ronda Rousey right now but one thing is for sure, she hasn't really relaxed and hung out.
The pressure of being a Hollywood star and a high profile Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter is understandable, although such is a predicament that she placed herself into in the first place.
Rousey, of course, got a big reprieve when she asked for more time off from the UFC. The reason was a change in filming schedule. Regardless, the UFC wasn't really against it and understood why Rousey need some time away from the UFC seen.
When all that was settled, the former UFC champion may have finally found some spare time to unwind and relax. Rousey was spotted at Venice, Los Angeles hanging out with a friend in what could be some rare but precious time off from it all, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Understandably, the coming months will be hectic for Rousey. She will be busy with the film remake "Roadhouse" plus some other flicks she got herself into.
And the UFC? Dana White claims that he is not hurrying Rousey back to action, although there is the possibility that she may not return at all. Either way, White claims via Sports Illustrated that he understands, although he did pitch the idea that the UFC star has a good reason to return — Holly Holm.
Rousey has been known to try and avenge losses and that shock knockout (KO) at UFC 193 is certainly something along that line.
Holm has moved on and will fight Miesha Tate in March at UFC 197. But as far as Rousey is concerned, Holm is welcoming the rematch, whenever (or if ever) it happens.
White claims that Rousey will fight again in 2016, but it may be best to hear that from Rousey herself when she is up and ready.
