Cris "Cyborg" Justino vs. Ronda Rousey is something that many Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fans want to see, but there are, apparently, certain conditions set forth by the UFC before such a blockbuster match could happen.

Justino was a name mentioned as Rousey's possible opponent right after the first announcement of a Miesha Tate vs. Ronda Rousey III. The rumor was immediately shot down since UFC President Dana White made it clear that Justino would need to meet the 135-pound catchweight and fight at least once before a match with the reigning UFC women's champion can take place.

Based on the latest developments, it seems that the camp of Cyborg is halfway there.

Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp announced that Justino will compete in the 140-pound catchweight at Invicta FC 14 this coming November against a yet-to-be-named opponent. Although it may still be far off from the desired catchweight of 135-pounds, such is a good start towards getting there.

If everything goes as planned, chances are Justino will be forced to fight one more time at the set 135-pound category and hopefully set the stage for the much clamored face-off between the two UFC female fighters.

Apparently, Justino will have the time to make the necessary adjustments as Rousey herself is set to face off against Holly Holm this November as well at UFC 193 at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

It should be noted as well that the announced 140-pound catchweight fight will be the first time for Justino. The November fight will be the lowest weight class that Justino has ever fought in.

Assuming Rousey comes out triumphant once more, the camps of both Rousey and Justino could possibly meet up for the much demanded superfight between two of the dominant female fighters in the world to date by 2016.
