Ronda Rousey not fighting at UFC 200

Ronda Rousey will not be around when Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 200 kicks off in July, with reports that the former UFC champion has experienced changes in filming schedule.

Dana White bared via Yahoo Sports that Rousey requested for more time off due to delays in the shooting schedule of upcoming film remake "Roadhouse".

White did not discount, however, the possibility of seeing Rousey doubling up her time to satisfy her film and UFC commitments, but the UFC president took into consideration the things that the former champion had already done in the UFC scene.

This takes out all hope of seeing that much awaited rematch between Rousey and tormentor Holly Holm who scored a vicious second round knockout on Rousey back at UFC 193.

Holm is all set to face Miesha Tate this March for UFC 197 in what was originally seen as a tune-up match before the rematch. But that is, of course, with the understanding that Holm is able to hold off Tate.

The thought of possibly seeing Holm lose to Tate is not discounted. If that should that happen, the UFC may find itself in a bind. Many had wanted to see if Rousey could get even with the current UFC Women's bantamweight champion.

And apparently this was the reason why White was holding off and preserving Holm to make sure that the rematch does materialize. That was until Rousey's request though.

There is no telling when (and if Rousey) will ever return to the UFC scene. She is caught up with a lot of film commitments at the moment in Hollywood. Aside from that, many believe that Rousey is still reeling from the mental and physical anguish tied up with that first UFC career defeat back in November.

While White says that he is leaving it up to Rousey on what she plans to do next, the thought of seeing Rousey end his UFC career abruptly is in the air despite a promise that she will return for a rematch against Holm.
