Ronda Rousey used to live in a Honda?

Ronda Rousey has been reaping the rewards of her hard work, but not too many are aware of the hard times she went through. Apparently, a lot of people can dig into that when they get to read her autobiography in the book titled "My Fight/ Your Fight."

In the book, it seems that Rousey fanatics will get to see how she was able to be where she is right now. Technically, Rousey wasn't really homeless. Rather, it was living in a car temporarily while she was looking for a job.

As it turns out, the reason why she lived in a Honda at that time was she just got a job and didn't want to go home after getting into an argument with her mother.

"People kind of over play it up me living in my car. I was only really there for like a week or week and a half," says Rousey on the homeless and sleeping in a car bit.

But after that, everything just came into place. Being technically homeless somehow motivated her to strive and such rewarded her for her efforts and sacrifice.

Of course, it didn't take long before Rousey would find an actual place to live in. She eventually sold her Honda Accord for about $21,000 on eBay, together with all the stuff she left in it. It makes you wonder how much that car would cost now, especially if collectors find out that it was formerly hers.

Things are, of course, entirely different now, and Rousey has a new house over in California. Apparently, her popularity and success were a result of those slow beginnings, and at the rate she is going, it is hard to visualize Rousey having to go through hard times ever again.
