Holly Holm may likely be still on cloud nine following her big upset over Ronda Rousey last weekend, but she knows that a rematch will likely follow.

But as far as Holm is concerned, she is ready any time the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) president Dana White wants to make it happen. Checking on the UFC calendar though, it looks like the best bet for that to happen will be at UFC 200, the same event that Rousey had planned to return after UFC 193.

Unlike most champions who would buy their time before returning to fight again, Holm is pumped up and ready to get it on once again. But the obvious right now is that before she fights anyone else, Rousey gets first crack.

Holm made headlines when she shocked Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 with a dominant performance that was capped by a left kick that knocked out the seemingly undefeated Rousey. But rather than gloat and use it as a yardstick to prove the best, she has been the exact opposite.

Holm was pretty much concerned on Rousey despite that celebrated (and staged?) weigh-in melee and has had nothing harsh to say against the former champion. In fact she is even trying to tell people to chill and stop bashing Rousey which somehow shows the real character the former boxer has. As most people say these days, that is what you call #respect.

And with that, one has to look back at the claims of Rousey that Holm's silence was an act. She claimed that Holm was playing the mind games but, apparently, Holm is showing that such was not the case. She is as simple as can be and all she wanted to do was to come out and perform.

With the rematch likely months away, it is likely that Holm will continue her subtle approach leading to the rematch. For Rousey? Well, it just wouldn't be like her if she suddenly becomes nice all of a sudden.
