'Rookie Blue' season 5 spoilers: New trailer released, synopsis for two-hour finale

The thrilling ABC drama "Rookie Blue" has reached the end of its fifth season. And what better way to end the season than with a two-hour season finale?

ABC released a sneak peek  trailer of what the season finale will be. By watching it, one can tell that it will be an exploding ending to a great season.

ABC's synopsis for the trailer reads, "Chloe and Andy are on scene dealing with a parking attendant who became irate after a car sped out of the garage without paying. While they're trying to calm him down, an explosion rocks the garage. As they rush inside to investigate and clear the building, there's another explosion! Will Chloe and Andy be OK?"

The trailer showed a parking attendant throwing a sign at a car that didn't pay and just drove off. Shortly after, an explosion occurred in the same building. People exited the building but Andy and Chloe couldn't. Then another explosion happened very close to where Andy and Chloe were.

The two-episode season finale episodes are titled "Fragments" and "Everlasting," according to WetPaint.

ABC released the official synopsis for the two episodes:

"Fragments: Andy McNally and Sam Swarek are in such a good place that she just can't help but feel like she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. So when Andy learns her former rookie, Duncan, is back on active duty and hoping to reconcile, she's sure that this is what her anxiety was anticipating. But it's all hands on deck when a car bomb explodes in a downtown parking garage — quickly followed by a second explosion at a busy local intersection. Duncan, eager to prove himself, goes rogue — only to come face-to-face with the car bomber. Now, it's up to Andy and Nick to get the situation under control and save Duncan before they run out of time."

"Everlasting: With a car-bomber still on the loose, the officers of 15 Division work frantically to track down the suspect while trying to figure out if more bombs have been planted around the city. Just when it feels like the worst is over, a bomb goes off in the evidence room of the station — with Andy McNally inside. But the violence — and the surprises — aren't over, leaving Sam Swarek dumbfounded."

The Rookie Blue Season five finale airs at 9 p.m. Thursday on ABC.
