Ronda Rousey vs Floyd Mayweather? UFC's Rousey would devastate 'Money' with an armbar, says Miesha Tate

A Ronda Rousey vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. bout may be close to impossible from happening so the best is to perhaps just play with the thought. That or unless some brilliant video game maker comes up with the idea of using both fighters as characters squaring off in the Octagon.

But in real life, such may not really happen. Rousey and Mayweather have been exchanging verbal jabs and apparently the whole thing hasn't died down.

Connor McGregor has even joined the fray but in the end agreed that Mayweather doesn't stand a chance if he for some reasons agrees to face off against the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Women's bantamweight champion.

Well, you can append the list of UFC personalities in that mix with Miesha Tate. Tate has faced Rousey twice and a third one could happen in December if nothing changes as earlier rumored.

Tate has felt the pain an armbar hold renders and she believes that Mayweather would be devastated by it just in case he ends up on the wrong end.

"Floyd is a great great boxer, but boxers meet in the center and agree to box. When you take that away and someone rushes in and the ref doesn't break up the clinch for you, and you don't know how to wrestle or stop a throw — I'm sorry, he's going down," says Tate in a recent Seattle Times Q & A session.

But then again, Mayweather is too wise to fall for that. Arrogant as he may be, the fact remains that Mayweather doesn't take fantasy fights like these pretty seriously.

Also, there is a big difference between the UFC and boxing. UFC is a full contact sport while boxing is mainly reliant on the hand and punches. Despite being a female, it is obvious that Mayweather will have a tough time "defending" against such a move, especially if Rousey finds a way to take him off his feet with some grappling maneuvers.

Take from Tate, she experienced it before and almost broke her arm resisting it!
