'Ruiner' received brand new free update

Action-packed shooting game "Ruiner" received a free new update.

The "Ruiner: Savage" update is now available. The trailer was uploaded to Devolver Digital's YouTube channel on Nov. 20, and the trailer began with an announcement that stated players would get the update for free. Included in the update was an announcement for a new game plus, 9 new weapons, 7 new outfits, finisher moves, speedrun mode, firearm rebalance, difficulty tuning and more.

The savage update is chock full of new content for excited fans. An update regarding this was also posted to the game's Steam page. According to the announcement, this update ensures new content for old and new fans alike, giving both a handful of brand new things to do in Rengkok South.

An update on Steam also provided short summaries for some of the new game modes.

"Speedrun Mode is only the first of RUINER challenges. No prologue, no dialogues, no cutscenes, no wandering about. Just pure action and the timer that won't let you rest. Look for the new guy in town, he'll tell you more. Or enter Game Modes in the main menu."

Leaderboards will also be coming to "Ruiner," allowing players to keep a tally of their scores for bragging rights. These aren't the only things coming to "Ruiner," the game will also receive two brand new songs, and the announcement mentioned that all of the updates would be free of charge.

"Ruiner" is currently available on the PC and currently available for purchase on the Steam store, however, the game has yet to be released on consoles though will hopefully be arriving sometime in the near future.
