The crime drama television series based on the 1975 show of the same name "S.W.A.T." returns this week for the fourth episode of its pilot season. In the upcoming installment titled "Radical," Hondo (Shemar Moore) reaches out to his old former team leader Buck (Louis Ferreira) when he worries about him being isolated after his recent firing. This gives viewers an idea into what the show depicts Hondo to be: a caring leader who feels for who he works with.

As per the episode synopsis from TV Guide, the team will be looking to find a dead domestic bomber's partner in a hot pursuit operation to prevent further detonations. This comes after a bomb went off in Highlands Park where the domestic bomber died.

The promo for Thursday's episode shows Hondo delivering an emotional pep talk to his team highlighting how they are going to change things together. He ends his speech by saying "We are the change that counts." The preview also shows a few clips from the team's case this week in which they find themselves chasing a domestic bomber. It appears as though the upcoming episode will be action-packed and filled with excitement.

"Radical" will air on Thanksgiving which some say could potentially harm the ratings of "S.W.A.T." However, the reason why CBS is doing this could be because the new show has had very limited time on air, and the network does not want to harm its ratings by having it off television screens for a week. Additionally, its schedule works in such a way that they would need to release more episodes if they give the show nine episodes as it started so late. If the network decides to keep the episode order at 13, they would have to introduce a new series by spring.

"S.W.A.T." season 1 episode 4 will air on Thursday, Nov. 23 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
