Sadie Robertson said her 2017 was incredible because of 'deep relationship with God that is unshakeable'
Not everybody had a great time in 2017, and a lot of people expressed eagerness to start anew this 2018. However, "Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson loved every bit of 2017, and she credits her "best year ever" to her incredible bond with God.
The reality star wrote on Instagram (@legitsadierob): "WOW 2017 I LOVED YOU!!!! Best year ever! Ups and downs no doubt, but all in all 2017 was a year that defeated fear, a year of redemption, a year that brought the greatest friendships, a year that brought family together, a year of surprises, victories, memories that will last forever, trips around the world, uncontrollable laughter and a deep relationship with God that is unshakeable."
The "Live Original" teen also thanked every person who has been a part of her 2017. Robertson shared several photos of her friends and family in the post, and she said she loves each and every one of them "so so sooo so deeply."
Robertson is never shy about expressing her faith and love for God on social media. Back in January 2017, she even talked about her struggles with fear and stress, which was conquered by the Bible passage from Psalms 46:4-7.
It reads: "A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it. The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! God's voice thunders, and the earth melts! The Lord of Heaven's Armies is here among us."
Robertson explained on Instagram that the verse helps her keep things in perspective, especially when it seems the whole world is going crazy.
"I don't know about y'all, but I'm running to the city of God!" she wrote. "Where there is joy, PEACE, no pain, no hurt, no comparison, no separation, no fear, there is LOVE, and so much security. EVEN when the nations are in chaos, I thank God for reigning higher than ANY of us. Look above, and find peace."
She added that she has found peace because of God, who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever more." Even though the world might be falling apart, she said that God will always be her constant.
