Samsung welcomes 2018 with the new Galaxy A8 2018 edition. The product will hit stores in selected countries on Jan. 6, and it is already receiving good feedback from critics.

First off, here are the specs to look forward to in the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). The smartphone will function with a 1.6Ghz octa-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. The 2018 edition has a 5.6 Super AMOLED FHD display (1080 x 2220 pixels). The product packs a 3000 mAh battery capacity, capable of supporting fast charging. The A8 2018 also has a built-in memory storage of 32 GB and will support 4G and LTE - Cat 11. The 16-megapixel front camera can capture crispy images and clear videos. Just like the Samsung Galaxy A8+ 2018 edition that is also scheduled to be on sale on Jan. 6, the A8's operating system is Android 7.

The price rate of the A8 2018, according to Samsung Vietnam, is 10.990.000 VND or $485 with VAT included. The A8+, on the other hand, costs 13.490.000 VND or $595.

Few consumer electronics experts already reviewed the product, and most of them applauded the 2018 edition. According to Yugatech, Samsung really designed an improved version of the Samsung Galaxy A8 released back in 2015. It was also indicated in the report that the Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 edition is one of the best products from Samsung's midrange smartphone category. The display feature and functionality were also recognized. GSMArena also published its own hands-on review on the product and it found the price rate of the A8 (2018) to be reasonable.

Samsung is also set to release other major products for its smartphone collection such as the most-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9. The S9 will be the first smartphone product to bring the 512 GB memory storage experience to consumers. The release date for the S9 is yet to be announced by the company.
