Samsung Galaxy 6: New metal chassis in leaked photos

Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung has sent out invitations for an event that would probably reveal the Samsung Galaxy S6 before the actual Mobile World Congress 2015. The move was apparently something made to somehow boost the company's intent to recover lost ground after suffering faltering smartphone sales last year.

And now, some photos have been leaked online, providing Galaxy S6 followers more information on what the Samsung Galaxy S6 will carry.

In that previous post, we did mention that there could possibly be two variants of the Galaxy S6. And now with the leaked photos, another feature that it could carry is a metal chassis thus signaling a totally new design which many had speculated.

Apparently many believe that Samsung would need to come up with something catchy and spunky and the design of the next smartphone they intend to release could be a vital turning point.

The photos were leaked by Nowherelese.fr and could be somehow taking a page out of Apple's design book.

Now these photos are leaked but remain unofficial of course. But with no point of comparison for now, these rumored photos could be close. All that however remains until March 1 when Samsung officially lifts the covers of the much awaited devices.

Samsung has a history of holding events to launch their next flagship model and from all indications it seems that this will be the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S6.

If the invite is to be used as a reference point, it seems that the Galaxy S6 will be a thin device with a rounded kink in the screen. Again, this adds more speculations of a curved version to go in hand with previously rumored specs. That includes include an improved screen resolution of 1440x2560 pixels, a 20 megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 5MP camera.
