Samsung has not yet disclosed any information regarding the next iteration of their current mid-range A-series smartphones. Regardless, the online community has found ways to get the latest scoop about the 2018 version of Samsung Galaxy A5. As per the recent leaks, the handset will finally introduce Samsung's new Infinite Display signature in the mid-tier devices. There is also a possibility that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will receive a dual camera module.

Latest rumors about the Infinite Display in Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) came from the Chinese social network Weibo. Leaked renders, allegedly from the upcoming mid-series smartphone, revealed two devices wrapped in two different protective cases, Android Headlines reported. Both devices in the images are believed to be the next Galaxy A5, sporting an all-screen design with reduced bezels.

Speculations about the mid-range Samsung handsets getting the bezel-less design have already surfaced earlier this year. Before, the high-end flagship devices are the only ones having their bezels trimmed down, but the South Korean tech giant seems to bring the widescreen viewing experience to the mid-tier market as well via Galaxy A5 (2018).

Aside from an all-screen front panel, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) is hinted to get a dual camera. The leaked renders show a camera cutout at the rear panel, which appears to be large enough to fit in a dual lens setup. However, the images did not clearly show a dual camera module included in the device. There is also a secondary hole at the back, possibly reserved for the LED flash.

Prior to the spotted Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) renders on Weibo this week, OnLeaks have also provided their own 3D visualization of the smartphone. The tech leaker based their renders on the recent design and specs rumors, according to Phone Arena. As for the front appearance of the handset, the Galaxy A5 (2018) is shown to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD+ screen display.

Going to the internal hardware, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) will receive the Exynos 7885 processor with 4GB RAM. Although, it is also possible that the Galaxy A5 (2018) will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset in selected market locations.

It is also worth noting that OnLeaks did not include a Bixby button in their 3D renders for the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018). The rumors are rife that the mid-range smartphones next year will also get the special button to call on Samsung's voice assistant. This feature was first introduced in the current flagship smartphones, Galaxy S8 and S8+.
