Even though there's a lot of hype for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), those who reside in Europe will definitely be disappointed with the recent rumor that the device won't be available on the continent, at least for the first few months after the midrange smartphone is released.

The speculation started when Samsung's website in Austria listed several devices that are compatible to be used with its Gear S3 smartwatch, and quite interestingly, the Galaxy A7 (2017) wasn't included in it, while the likes of the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A3 (2017) were listed.

According to GSM Arena, the South Korean electronics giant actually has not confirmed any further information about the upcoming phone or any of the Galaxy A series phones that are rumored to be given their respective updates next year. Nonetheless, it is pretty confusing why the Austrian official site listed both the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 without including the Galaxy A7. It actually might just be a typo or something like it, so for the moment, it's just way too early to arrive at a conclusion.

Based on earlier reports, the Galaxy A7 (2017) will be sporting either a 5.5 or 5.7-inch screen with touchscreen technology and full high-definition screen resolution. The premium resolution is made possible due to the presence of the company's own processor, the Exynos 7870 chipset. Furthermore, the upcoming smartphone is expected to be equipped with at least 3 GB of random access memory (RAM), something that's almost a standard for the majority of smartphone devices next year. As for internal storage, there could be 32 GB and 64 GB variants.

Next year's lineup of Galaxy smartphones will have some big shoes to fill and challenges to overcome, more particularly the effect of the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. But with one less unit to be sold in Europe for the Galaxy A series, Samsung's sales in the region for next year will definitely be affected. But to what extent; that's anyone's guess right now.
