Speculations suggest that Samsung will add a new iteration to its Galaxy C-series. The rumored Galaxy C9 will reportedly be the biggest in the lineup as it is supposed to have a 5.7-inch display.

According to Phone Arena, an import tracker listing bound for India listed a new Samsung handset, with model number SM-C900. This is the supposed model for the new Galaxy C9, internally code-named as "Amy." Interestingly, while not much is known about the upcoming handset, the Zauba listing revealed that SM-C900 will have a 5.7-inch screen.

Should this be the case, then the new Galaxy C9 is the biggest in the lineup. Samsung has launched the new series this year with two iterations. The Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch screen. Meanwhile, although the Galaxy C7 also features a 5.7-inch display, the Galaxy C9 will reportedly be launched with more features, being a more recent release. There are also rumors that instead of a 5.7-inch one, Samsung may opt to feature a larger screen for the Galaxy C9, similar to how a phablet display has been listed for another company lineup, the Galaxy A9. This means that the Galaxy C9 is also likely to launch with a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED display. In addition, other specs may also be similar to the phablet, such as a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM.

Aside from confirming its launch, not much is known about the Galaxy C9. However, since the two earlier iterations remain exclusive to China, it is expected that the new addition will also come out first in the region. It remains to be seen if Samsung will launch the Galaxy C9 globally, although there is a possibility. Previously, Samsung has also launched the new Galaxy A series as China-exclusives, but decided later on to launch them in other markets as well.
