Samsung did pull the covers of its upcoming wearable at IFA 2015 and it looks like the the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 is set to make its official debut in the consumer market next month.

The new device stands as an interesting device to check out, featuring a circular watch face with a rotating bezel for its navigational needs.

With wearables slowly creeping into the fray of tech devices we have right now, the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 should be something to closely keep an eye on.

There will reportedly be two models of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Gear S2. The Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 will have a modern design while the other, which will be called the Samsung Gear S2 Classic, will offer a more traditional look.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 will be available in either a Bluetooth only or e-SIM 3G-enabled version, the latter of which will give customers the option to use it independently from their handsets.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 Classic will only be available in Bluetooth version, meaning you will need to hook it up with a smartphone.

Other features that will come with the wearable include the S-Health application, a 24-hour activity log, and auto recognition activities. Per rumors, it will also come with Samsung Pay.

For it to work properly, smartphone devices should be using Android 4.4 at the least and having a minimum 1.56 of RAM to ensure compatibility. The Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 will not be running on Google's Android Wear OS but on Samsung's own Tizen instead.

The Bluetooth Galaxy Gear S2 is expected to hit the U.S. market by October while the 3G-enabled version could follow through certain networks.

For those who are interested in getting one, word out is that most of the leading mobile carriers have signified their intentions of carrying the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2.
