It is highly speculated that Samsung is about to launch its 2016 version of the Galaxy Grand Prime. It was spotted for the third time on an export and import tracking website based in India.

A Samsung Galaxy phone model SM-G532F was spotted for the third time on Zauba. The smartphone was first noticed back on July 12, then Aug. 4 and lastly, Aug. 6. Based on its model number, experts on the matter speculate that the alleged phone is the successor of the Galaxy Grand Prime 2014. It was previously tagged as model SM-G531, GSM Arena reported.

A total of eight units were shipped to India, with a listing price of US$103, and will come with a 5-inch screen. However, no other information was available from the website.

The 2014 Grand Prime also came in with a 5-inch display with a 540 x 960 pixel screen resolution. It was powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz. It came with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable to up to 64 GB via its dedicated microSD slot. It also came with 8MP main and 5MP secondary cameras, both capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps.

A removable 2,600 mAh battery also came with the unit which gives it up to 17 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 75 hours of standby time. It was offered in three colors, White, Gray and Gold.

Fans are speculating that the Samsung Grand Prime 2016 will offer better specifications and more features, as well as an Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system.

The South Korean tech giant has not confirmed that the phone exists but is expected to be revealed soon. The old version was announced in the month of September and was made available by the following month.
