A whole host of live images emerged online, revealing what the Samsung Galaxy J5 looks like even before its maker was ready to do so. The shots show the handset on every side and every angle, letting the tech world have a good look at it.

As seen before in China's certification agency TENAA, the South Korea-based manufacturer's supposed new mid-ranger has a polycarbonate body and a removable plastic back cover where the Samsung logo is plastered. Overall, the handset's design has all the makings of a basic Android product and something one would expect Samsung would make.

On the technical front, the Samsung Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. It reportedly houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocking in at 1.2 GHz, and a 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB storage that can be expanded with a microSD card.

It has a removable 2600 mAh battery to keep things going, and a new version of TouchWiz running on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. Camera-wise, users will enjoy its 13-megapixel camera on the back (Galaxy A5, A7 and E7 all have the same shooter unit) and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper on the front.

Samsung has yet to make the Galaxy J5 official although media outlets are under the impression that the handset will be released sometime in the near future and that the tech firm will confirm its existence soon as well. Needless to say, there's no word on the pricing yet as the device itself isn't official, but the mid-ranger is projected to come with a minimal price tag.

There's no way of knowing when all that would happen or if ever it would. Nonetheless, the device is expected to come out along with a big brother called the Galaxy J7, which reportedly sports a 5.5-inch display and almost identical innards and appearance.
