Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Alpha smartphone to launch soon as Samsung hints two powerful phones

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha release date will come soon as the South Korean company hinted that it will launch two powerful smartphones soon.

According to iTech Post, Samsung just announced its worst earnings report in two years. Samsung has not been doing well in terms of sales for the past two years and it seemed that the company is taking drastic measures to recuperate from the loss.

The company recently announced three budget smartphones targeting emerging markets like Asia, specifically in India. Moreover, it has two high end devices on its pipeline. The two powerful smartphones were dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Alpha smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is rumored to pack quadHD screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution, 64-bit processor, Android 4.4.3 Kitkat operating system, 3GB RAM, and 3 megapixel front-facing camera. The phablet is purported to come in two variants: the international variant will come with Exynos chipset and the unit released in the US will pack the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha, on the other hand, is speculated to be a full metal smartphone. Just like the iPhone, it will also come with a semi-metal body, and you will find a metallic rim on the edges of the Galaxy Alpha. It will be equipped with a 4.7-inch AMOLED display, Samsung Exynos Octa 5 chipset and will be powered by the new Snapdragon 805 processor introduced in the Galaxy S5 LTE-A. The handset will also be available with 32GB internal storage.

Both smartphones are expected to make noise at this year's IFA event in Berlin in September. This is backed up by reports that the Galaxy Note 4 will enter mass production this month to meet the time for release. Meanwhile, reports claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will be announced earlier and will hit the market on August 13. However, Samsung has not revealed any official information about its upcoming devices.
