Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date was rumored to happen in its usual launch window in September. However, the device was speculated to come with "Gear Glass".

According to BGR, Samsung will have its own version of Google Glass coming this fall. The device is an eyeglass with computer capability. It was speculated that the device will be announced alongside Samsung Galaxy Note 4 just like how Galaxy Gear was paired with the phablet last year.

Moreover, Business Korea reported that Gear Glass will also debut at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany that has been the launching platform of the Galaxy Note series. Samsung Galaxy Note series have obtained a great following.

BGR cited an unnamed source from Samsung saying "We rolled out the smartwatch first, and have secured a considerable amount of smart glass-related technology and patents. Following the roll out of our smart watch Galaxy Gear in September last year, we are slated to introduce our smart glass Gear Glass this September."

The report continued that the Gear Glass will run with the next generation of Tizen OS and will feature an earpiece and a display, "enabling people to listen to music with the right ear while looking at the display with the right eye," according to the publication. However, photos and hardware details of the Gear Glass has not been released yet.

The Gear Glass launch was still unconfirmed but it seemed that Samsung is determined in making wearable devices as much as possible. The company has launched three smartwatches and a fitness band in the past. Moreover, the company has a special health-related event lined up on May 28.

Google Glass costs $1,500 at least the Explorers version and is widely available in the US. However, Google's wearable device is still in beta version but the commercial availability of the device is still unknown.
