The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly be released on Aug. 13.

For months, rumors have been suggesting that the Galaxy Note 5 would be coming soon from Samsung. With just a little over a week left before Aug. 13, the rumor mill is ramping up yet again, and the reports are now becoming more adamant that the device will indeed make its highly anticipated debut on that date, according to Engadget.

In addition to the persistent rumors, a well-regarded tech industry leaker by the name of Evan Blass has also provided his very own stamp of approval to the supposed target release date of the Galaxy Note 5.

Blass also suggested that the Galaxy Note 5 itself would be not as massive an improvement over the Galaxy Note 4 as has been previously reported. Blass indicated that the improvements that will be added to the Galaxy Note 5 will represent more of an upgrade as opposed to an overhaul, but he did say that the enhancements are still noticeable.

As for the specifications of the Galaxy Note 5, the new device is expected to feature an octa-core Exynos 7420 chip, according to The Verge. As for its memory and storage capacities, it will reportedly have 4GB of RAM to go along with 32GB of storage.

The Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to feature a similar display to the Galaxy Note 4, meaning it will have a 5.66-inch screen.

For avid picture takers, the new device will reportedly come equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera that will be partnered up with a 5-megapixel camera up front.

Also worth noting about the Galaxy Note 5 is its metal and glass composition, giving it that modern look.

In addition revealing the Galaxy Note 5 on Aug. 13, Samsung is also expected to unveil the S6 Edge Plus on the very same day.

Samsung has yet to confirm the validity of the Aug. 13 release date for both devices.
