After the announcement of Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the South Korean phone giant is hinting towards rolling out the successor of its phablet sized smartphone series, the Galaxy Note 5, with a curved edge display. So far, the company's two products; the Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge sport the curved display technology. Now, it appears as though another device will be sporting the feature.

According to PhoneArena, Samsung's Roh Tae-moon, who is the executive VP of Samsung's product strategy team, stated in an interview: "There is a possibility that Samsung will introduce the curved display for the Galaxy Note lineup."

This is not the first time that the Galaxy Note 5 was hinted to sporting the feature. According to GforGames, it was rumored that Samsung was going to construct a brand new factory in order to roll out a substantially large quantity of its Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy Note 5 smartphones.

During 2014, which was the year Samsung released its Galaxy S5, the company suffered an operating profit loss of 60 percent, according to the information posted on Bloomberg. The staggering loss paved the way for Apple, Xiaomi and several others to garner sufficient amounts of revenue, increasing their global smartphone market share in the process. Samsung's Galaxy S6 is the first flagship smartphone belonging to the company that features a premium design.

Aside from that, it also features a powerful octa-core chipset, the Exynos 7420, 3 GB of RAM, and an impressive 16 MP rear camera sensor, but useful features such as a microSD card slot and a bigger battery pack have been left out by the company. Samsung incorporated a plastic exterior to its previous smartphones, but it appears that the company has changed its stance on the design of its upcoming smartphones.
