According to observers, Samsung has struck gold with the release of the Galaxy S7 lineup. Meanwhile, it is said that because of this success, fans are looking forward to the next Samsung flagship, the Galaxy Note 6, as the South Korea-based company is said to be basing some of the upcoming Note's design and features on the Galaxy S7.

According to Bloomberg, not only is Samsung capitalizing on the specs and features of the Galaxy S7, it will also use the momentum to launch the Galaxy Note 6 a little earlier than expeced. Reportedly, industry analysts are looking at an earlier release of the next Galaxy Note. Neil Mawston, executive director at Strategy Analytics, has been quoted as stating, "We expect Samsung to release the Note 6 a month or two before the Apple iPhone 7, to try and grab that window of opportunity."

As for what the similarities between the Galaxy S7 and the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 will be, observers say that Samsung may launch two versions of the next Galaxy Note, differentiated by the processors they possess. While this remains unconfirmed, an Exynos-powered variant and a Snapdragon-powered model are highly plausible, given that speculations suggest that the upcoming flagship will have a global release.

According to Android Pit, rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 6 may launch as early as August in the U.K. This means that Samsung will have an Exynos-powered Galaxy Note 6 for the South Korean and Asian markets, while the Snapdragon version will launch in the U.S .and Europe.

If the rumor is proven true, this will also mean the return of the Galaxy Note series to European shores, since Samsung has not officially released the current-gen Galaxy Note 5 in the region.

Meanwhile, although the Galaxy Note 6 may get some ideas from the Galaxy S7, rumors say that Samsung will make market the upcoming flagship as a phablet, with top-tier specs such as 6GB of RAM and a phablet dock.
